123d BMW With EDC17 Tricore

Hello Ciaron,

Just thought I'd let you know how impressed I am with the remap on my 123d. The throttle response has improved, it pulls like a freight train. The performance difference is more than I expected!

My mate has a seat Leon Cupra like my old one. We did a standing start from a set of traffic lights, after 600 metres it was around 80 metres behind i couldn't believe it. It seems to be getting quicker everyday.

Changes for 2010. EDC17 Tricore has arrived!

For many years the tuning market has been driven primarily by OBD. Things are now about the change. Whilst Bosch EDC17 family of ECU has been around for a while it now sees the addition of the Tricore Processor which has brought an end to the OBD approach certainly for the foreseeable future and many new vehicles. Here are just some cars with this ECU but this list is growing all the time -
